What types of wood does Låve use?
We primarily work with solid oak, ash, and birch, all sourced from FSC-certified forests in Scandinavia. Each type of wood is chosen for its strength, warmth, and natural grain, giving every piece a distinct and lasting character.
Are your finishes eco-friendly?
Yes. All finishes are water-based, low in VOCs, and environmentally safe. We use natural oils and matte lacquers that protect the wood while preserving its tactile feel and organic look.
How do I care for my solid wood furniture?
Wipe surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners or solvents. Keep furniture away from direct heat or strong sunlight to prevent warping or discoloration. Occasionally applying a natural oil finish will help maintain the wood’s depth and sheen.
Can I order fabric samples before purchasing?
Yes, you can request free swatches of our available upholstery fabrics and finishes. Simply contact our customer team with your preferred materials, and we’ll send samples to help you make your choice with confidence.
Do you offer spare parts or repair kits for your products?
Yes. For most of our furniture, we offer spare parts such as screws, felt pads, and hardware components. If your piece needs repair, our team can help source the correct part or recommend trusted local craftspeople for restoration. Contact our support team with your product name and order number to begin the process.
Design & Customization
Can I customize dimensions or finishes?
Yes. Many of our designs offer flexibility in dimensions, fabrics, and finishes. You can request modifications directly through our product page or by contacting our team for a custom quote.
Do you offer design consultations?
Yes. Our design team offers personalized consultations to help you choose finishes, fabrics, and furniture combinations that fit your space. Whether you’re furnishing a home or a commercial setting, we can assist with layout, color harmony, and material selection.
Can Låve furniture be used in commercial spaces?
Absolutely. Many of our designs are chosen for hotels, offices, and restaurants. They combine durability with timeless form. If you’re planning a larger project, we recommend reaching out through our Trade Program for custom pricing and tailored solutions.
How do you ensure each piece maintains its Scandinavian character?
Every piece is designed in Copenhagen and crafted by skilled makers in Denmark and Sweden. The materials, proportions, and finishes are carefully controlled to preserve the simplicity and warmth that define Scandinavian design.
Do you collaborate with interior designers or architects?
Yes. We regularly collaborate with interior designers, stylists, and architects. Through our Trade Program, partners gain access to exclusive pricing, early product previews, and custom project support.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
Most in-stock items are shipped within 2–4 weeks, depending on your location. Made-to-order or customized pieces typically require 6–8 weeks for production and delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Delivery times and shipping costs vary by region and are calculated at checkout. Customs fees or import taxes, if applicable, are the customer’s responsibility.
What happens if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no cost to you.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We can modify or cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase, provided it has not entered production or shipping. For custom or made-to-order items, changes are only possible before production begins. Please contact our support team as soon as possible if you need assistance.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link and carrier details. You can follow your delivery status in real time. If you haven’t received tracking information within the estimated timeframe, please reach out to our support team.
